Do they HAVE to mention

I don’t think they’re selling that laptop anymore. The only compaq that’s selling now is some other model, and the link you gave me doesn’t work.
But from what you say, it doesn’t sound like a great laptop. I don’t know which processor you’re talking about, but the processor I do recommend is the T8100 or better. Also, compaq’s were always kind of a second class machine compared to other HP laptops.
And if his graphics card got a 3, it’s most likely Intel Integrated graphics. Those are really bad, and while they work for normal things, lots of games won’t run on them. Games like Maplestory will run fine, Kartrider will too, but things like COD4 or Crysis, don’t even think of running them on there. It’ll fry your computer :O.
Oh and I think you should get a new MacBook! They’re really awesome if you don’t mind spending the extra bit for them. If not, get a Dell during this season’s black friday sales. They’re selling really cheap now, check out their website for prices.

Josh, you’re big in photography right? On the Macs, there’s a program called Aperture that’s for photos and it is awesome. I suggest you check that out on Apple’s website!. http://www.apple.com/aperture/
Right now is an excellent time to buy a MacBook. They just came out with aluminum unibody MacBooks along with the 9400M graphics card, which increases performance by 5x in comparison to the old one, which happens to be the same as the one in your brother’s laptop.

I left Texas after graduation. I am now living in Hong Kong and they only allow you to play HKMS here. My Bowmaster didn't quit. If Nexon unblocks Hong Kong IP and allows us to play GMS, I'd love to go back :l
