Intro:
Archer is known for leveling slower than other classes
and we definetely are not the easiest class of all.
There are a number of archers that might question themselves
whether they are training efficiently at the
“appropriate” monsters for their level.
Purpose:
This is a thread where dedicated archers can share with us
their %/hr gained from certain monster at a certain level
When there is enough data this could be an estimated
standard for other archers to find out if they are doing well in training.
Your Contribution:
What you can do to find out how much %/hr you are gaining
at the moment is to record your current % and time,
Concentrate on training for one hour
(try to get the max % possible in this hour)
and by the end of 60 minutes write down your % again.
For example:
at 4:35 pm I have 44.03% at zombies and I am level 75.
(I write down the time and % exp on a paper and
start training with no talking or screwing around.)
at 5:35 I found that I have 55.86%.
This doesnt require too much time or effort.
All you have to do is write down the time and your current %
and record the data again after one hour.

*Must be % gained in ONE HOUR, and be specific.
*Post your attack range, if not, the data will be marked as gray.
*Include the name of the monster
*Solo? or Party? Let us know.

“i swear [frostprey] is the most handy skill i have, 1 freaking point and nothing touches me.
The only thing i did different is that with frostprey freezing the line constantly i used pierce quite a bit.
Since i only have lvl 9 pierce, which when on apple, becomes ridiculously useful due to its insanely
high dmg to to the entire line. On just regular atk pots its more like 20-40k per newtie but yea due to the
warm-up time i dno if its really faster, was using it mostly for the fun factor.
Either way, my exp here crushed anything i could hope to get at gobies and much better
(also way more fun) than himes. Pot cost not too bad either.
I didnt get exact timing so i think today if i can im going to time with and without pierce to get exact numbers.”

I have the same touble with you when im using Internet Explorer.
Firefox loads fine for me (tried IE on two computers and they both wont load well)
This is mainly for GMS until we have MSEA monsters, I prefer to have only GMS
monsters for everyone’s convience

Hi. Im lv 74 sniper and my att range is 879-1557 wit pill.
(11 att wgs, 9dex ss, 98att lv70xbow,20 dex overall, etc..)
I get around 16% per hour at blck squid training alone.
I kill blck, purple and goby but the bottom platform (it’s hard for me now but sometimes do dat tho.)
Dis is much better than Fog or Z4 for me =]

Few other things. It says “Dangerous Sea GEORGE 1″ there at one point. xD It’s Gorge, rofl.
And, you should have all this listed by the map name, not monster name. Like Gobies for example, I can get +12% an hour if the Goby House spawn is greater than Bone Fish, but less than 11% if it’s the opposite. A lot of maps have 2 or 3 different monsters in them.

i would add that hopefully people know how to do black squids. i tend to stay up top and see if gobi houses spawn, and then after a bit mob the bottom by placing a puppet on the upper level. perhaps some archers don’t mob bottom effectively enough, accounting for lower %s.

taking a 5 minute break inbetween hours, I leveled and left at 12:03 with 0.71%
This was on 2X EXP.
I was level 97 at the time, damage range (1260-2237)

I quit training after hitting lvl 130 in June 07.
I have never trained at Himes,
I know Himes really drain your pot.
You probably have to repot very often
one solution is to go to Hime map and watch how other ranger/sniper train?

No partying, no double exp.
BTW, this is with lvl 21 ar at lvl 88.
Typhoons are lvl 100, give 3200 exp each, have 60k hp and come in huge mobs like gryphons.
They deal only 400 damage, but they drain pots because you are always inside a mob.
But the pots are covered by HUGE drop of top str 70%, xbow att 70% and bottom hp 30%. I get around 3 of each every hour. Tobis are common as well.
Getting there is hard, and i often die because of elder wraiths, which 1 hit me.
But the overall exp is great, and the drops ar great as well.
BTW, the map is path of peril.

BTW, ive just made 21m from the scrolls i gained in 1.5 lvls.
Yes, this place IS godly, but it might be nerfed soon.
The only con is the long way to get there. Thats all.
This map will be good until lvl 10x IMO, and i often see some lvl 11x training there.

Really think we have to look at all options in this day and age. It is also important to consider what the current economic conditions will allow – I still think we may have reached the bottom of the cycle, but will take a lot longer to improve.
